How to Memorise Phonic Sounds...

I have met so many parents who seem to be at a loss when it comes to sounding out letter sounds. Such as 'g' as in 'gap'; rather than 'g' as in 'giraffe'.

So.. to make matters, really easy, I prepared a sound chart. It's fairly straightforward, but if you are teaching your child to read; or supporting his/her learning, you will have to memorise these key sounds.

Please note that there are more 'sounds' in English than there are letters of the alphabet, but we will start with 26 letters.

More sounds for another day!
